Service Club

Service Club

Service Club is a wonderful opportunity for students in 3rd-8th grade to make a difference in our school and community. The students in this after school club participate in a variety of projects from volunteering time at a retirement community, teaching Head Start students in the Grand Valley, collecting food for the local food bank, sponsoring Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF, organizing Yoga Club, sponsoring a recycled art competition, and much more. This club is student-driven and while in Service Club students will learn to write proposals, advertise a project, and ultimately lead the project to completion.

Announcement Committee

Announcement Committee is a student-run newscast. In Announcement Committee students collaborate to create their own weekly newscast that features a variety of segments including anchor desk, Bob the Bookworm, Phil the Phoenix, Math and Science and much more. In this after school club, students learn how to research and write a script, film their work, and edit the newscast. Every week, students look forward to our amazing student-run newscast.
