Let's celebrate! Over the weekend IACS students competed in the National History Day competition. Five members of our community placed and have qualified to compete at the state competition in April. They potentially could compete at the national level in June if they win at state.
Please congratulate the following when you see them:
Zoe L. - Second place! She participated in the paper category. Her paper was titled, "The Salem Witch Trials: The Court Procedures of the Past"
Maddie P. - First place! She participated in the performance category. Her performance was called, "The Chavez Ravine to Dodgers Stadium: The Government's Rights and Responsibilities When Using Eminent Domain"
Jade B. - Second place! She participated in the performance category. Her performance was called, "Human Doesn't Mean Humane: The Battle of Mengele's Morality"
Lyla N. and (IACS alum) Alivia N. - First place! These ladies participated in the senior division documentary, against high school students. Their documentary was titled, "Inherited Ideology: The Eugenic Link Between America and Germany."
