Ready, Set, GLOW! is a family literacy night that will be March 2nd 5:30-7:30. We will have a variety of glow in the dark activities to celebrate the love of reading.

Food Truck Nite is a fundraiser for our 7th grade RISE students who are collaborating with GJ Fusion Food Truck to prepare and serve delicious food as they fundraise for their 8th grade field trip.

A reminder to all current families who are returning next year but have not yet completed your intent to enroll form on MyPaymentsPlus. The deadline to submit your intent to return form for the 2023-24 school year is Friday, February 17th. Log on to your MyPaymentsPlus account to secure your spot.

UPDATE: Mesa County Valley School District 51 is now closing all District 51 schools and administrative buildings due to inclement weather conditions for Feb. 15, 2023.

Our Safety & Security and Operations Departments have consulted with various outside organizations, including the City of Grand Junction, Mesa County, Student Transportation of America, and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, and have determined the current weather conditions are not improving and are not safe for our students, families, and staff to travel in.

D51 leaders felt this was the best decision for the safety of our D51 community.

In collaboration with GJ Fusion Food Truck, the 7th Grade Rise program presents the first annual Food Truck Night. Students will be using skills learned in the classroom to prepare and serve delicious food. All money raised at this event will go towards helping fund the Rise 8th grade field trip.
